A Brief Biography

I’m a native New Yorker and Beverly, Massachusetts freelance writer, photographer and editor with more than 3,000 published articles and photographs. An award-winning member of New England Women’s Press Association, I have published pieces in Woodall’s Publications (11 magazines, Northeast Outdoors, Southern RV, Camperways, etc.), The Cape Cod Times, The New Hampshire Union Leader, Ottway Newspapers. My Articles and photographs appear regularly in AAA Horizons Magazine, too. For four years, I taught Journalism and Writing at several Massachusetts colleges. I hold a B.S.Ed from Temple University and a M.EdArt and Communications from Temple University and Cambridge College. Being a versatile artist and graphic designer, I often illustrate my own articles. Travels take me throughout the United States, Mexico, New England, the Caribbean and Europe. New York City. Cruising, adventure travel and luxury and special train travel are in my portfolio. A prolific writer, I am an excellent researcher and interviewer and can write on deadline thanks for my 10 years stint at the Beverly Times as a feature writer/photographer.
